Further to our announcement
dated 26th June 2008, 25th August 2008 and 27th August 2008
respectively, we have forwarded our appeal for extension of
time to comply with Paragraph 15.10(1)(c) of the Listing Requirement
via letter dated 24th September 2008.
The Company is still in the midst of searching for a suitable
candidate with the requisite qualification and experience that
will enable him/her to discharge his/her obligations as an audit
committee member diligently.
The present Audit Committee is consisting of three (3) members
which has proper ratio between independent and non-independent
directors. Also the present Chairman , Dato’ Wira Hj. Hassan
bin Taib who eventhough is not a MIA member but does bring along
vast experience in financial matters by virtue of his position
as the former State Financial Officer for the Kedah State Government.
We will make an announcement to update on this matter from time
to time. |
