1.0 INTRODUCTION
Further to our announcement dated 8th May 2008, Bina Darulaman
Berhad wishes to announce that, its wholly owned subsidiary,
Syarikat Bina dan Kuari Kedah Sdn Bhd (BINAKUARI) had on 30th
November 2008 received the final Letter of Acceptance (the said
“LA”) for the Project known as “Kerja-kerja Menaiktaraf dan
Membaikpulih Jalan-Jalan di Negeri Kedah Darul Aman Untuk Tempoh
Dua (2) Tahun Bagi Daerah Kota Star / Padang Terap, Daerah Kuala
Muda / Sik, Daerah Kulim / Bandar Baharu dan Daerah Baling”
(The Project).
2.0 INFORMATION OF THE PROJECT
2.1 Contract Sum
Upon issuance of the said LA from Jabatan Kerja Raya Negeri
Kedah, the final contract sum for the said Project is now RM60.9
million (Ringgit Malaysia: Sixty Point Nine Million) compared
with the interim award of RM49 million reported earlier.
2.2 Performance Bond
The total amount for the Performance Bond required to be furnished
is now stood at RM3,045,571.38 (Ringgit Malaysia: Three Million
Forty Five Thousand, Five Hundred Seventy One and Cents Thirty
Eight).
2.3 Other Terms
The other terms remain unchanged.
3.0 DOCUMENTS FOR INSPECTION
The said LA may be inspected at the Registered Office, Aras
9, Menara BDB, 88 Lebuhraya Darulaman, 05100 Alor Setar, Kedah.
